Sunset Dreams- A motivational book

Sunset Dreams is a motivational book by Suzy Liebermann. The book has beautiful sunset photographs and inspirational quotes. The photos are of beaches and the ocean at sunset, the photos are relaxing and calming.

With beautiful photos and quotes like "Life is a journey not a destination, enjoy the ride," it is hard not to sit back and enjoy the photos and reflect on your day. This would be a great coffee table book, simple but pretty, just what your guests will enjoy!

The book is available for downloading on kindle at amazon.com.

Travel Sterilizer

Up today is a really neat product that I found online by Bert and Bratt, it is their UV Sterilizer.

This mini, purse or diaper bag sized UV Sterilizer is a fantastic concept. The sterilizer runs on batteries and takes 4 minutes to sterilize any product placed inside of it. This sterilizer can hold a pacifier, a bottle nipple or any other small item that you may need sterilized for your baby.

This is the sterilizer next to a Tommee Tippee 12 oz Sippy cup. As you can see the sterilizer is smaller than a sippy! Perfect for travel or diaper bag!

This is the inside of the sterilizer, it uses a small UV light to sterilize anything placed inside. On the feet there are two magnets which hold the sterilizer closed, however, if the sterilizer is opened during the sterilizing process it does immediately turn off. This is a great safety feature that we discovered because my son saw it on the counter (I was testing it out on a pacifier) and he thought it was a toy and grabbed it before I could get it from him and had it open, it turned off before it was completely opened.

"Bert&Bratt products have a small UVGI light that kills germs using a dual-action process. The oxygen in the air reacts with a range of 254 nm wavelengths creating ozone to safely eliminate up to 99.9% of germs and bacteria. The only by-product of this process is oxygen, leaving the pacifier without any residue or harmful bacteria. Simply push and hold button until light flashes. When flashing has stopped, sterilization has occurred. It breaks down bacteria and exposes the DNA/RNA, quickly destroying the cell.
UV light is often used in hospitals to sterilize equipment as well as to remove germs from water and air.
Simple yet effective."
^Directly from the Bert and Bratt site, describing how the sterilizer works, they said it best so why mess with it?

Overall, I think this is a great product that certainly met a need in our household. Even with pacifier clips and straps, they still always ended up on the florr in the nastiest of places (prime example- public restroom!!) With this sterilizer, I simply washed it with hot water and soap then placed it in the sterilizer, I felt more comfortable knowing that any residual germs not taken off by the barely warm bathroom water and cheap hand soap would be removed by the Baby Sterilizer. I think this would be a great product for any mom on the go, with a little one who likes to throw things, or a health concious mom. Not to mention the fact that it is super cute!!

I was a bit skeptical about whether or not it could actually sterilize items as well as boiling, but upon further research into the UV sterilization process, it is very possible, and UV sterilization is used ni many hospitals and other healthcare fields.

Bert and Bratt is a Canadian based company and from what I can tell have not reached into the US market retail space, however this can be ordered from their website (link is at the top of this post). Retail price is $45 plus shipping. You can follow Bert and Bratt on Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook.
